Support issue with Dreamweaver.

I would like to share this with anybody who uses Dreamweaver CS3 on MAC Leopard OSX

One day my MAC was being a little temperamental as it some times does when I push it to the limits by running all my web software, along with my video editing and music production software, while at the same time sending large attachments to colleagues and clients. My mail program froze up and as I some times do I reset my machine. The unfortunate thing is that I had Dreamweaver opened. After rebooting and reopening Dreamweaver I discovered that all my websites (a lot, a whole lot, I have a lot of customers) were missing out of my Dreamweaver stie list. If you ever used dreamweaver and have 100 plus sites in your list you would know how much of a pain it would be to recreate your site cache. I was not going to do that. I was determined to find a way to restore the whole list with a few clicks.
Through some reasearch on the web I was able to find the solution and I would like to share it with you to hopfully save you the time if you run into the same issue.

All your site definitions are stored on a file called Site Prefs. If you are not on MAC OSX I would encrouage you to find out where that file is and back it up daily. On the MAC OSX it is located at the following path.

Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/9/Sites/Site Prefs

If you have a crash simply get your backed up file and replace it. This will resore all of your sites in perfect order just the way they were when the file was backed up.

Now, a lesson on faith and optimizm. If you see every problem as a life lesson and know that you can use the knowledge you obtain while working through the issue, then you will grow and become great in your journey of humanity.
See I didn't panic and go crazy even though reconfiguring all the sites would have been hours of work. I simply said a prayr to God and calmly googled the issue. He guided me to my solution which not only solved my issue but also helped me answer a question I have long needed answered. How do I quickly impport sites from one Dreamweaver app on one computer to another Dreamweaver app on another computer with out importing the sites one by one.

In the end this will make me more efficient, and also help me work more remotley to serve my fantasitc customers. In return for this ansewer, as a token of my appreciation, I'm taking the time to help anybody who needs the answer to the same question to hopfully not only restore their list of sites in Dreamweaver but also restore a bit of sanity in their life by posting this article.
